now, everyone looking for a shortcut and windfall.
Where there's a will there's a way.
before time, it is a HARD way,
now, it is an EASY way.
If the son become a criminal, should the parents be punished because their failure to look after and properly raised the child?
If the patient die, should the doctor be sentenced to life imprisonment because fail to preserve life?
If the property stolen, should the enforcement be suspended because failing to prevent theft?
If the student fail the exam, should the teacher be blameworthy because not prepare them well?
should i blame my parents?
others driving Benz, i am driving van,
others living in bungalow, i am living in apartment low,
others drinking organic juice, i am drinking sky juice,
others go travel by plane, me stay home playing game.
So back to the questions, student failed the exam,
(1)because the teacher never prepare notes/reading material? (is it an obligation? is it a duty owe to contract?)
(2)because the teacher never done enough tutorial? (how much is consider enough?)
(3)because the teacher never try to solve their problem? (then consultation=?, msn=?, email=?, blog=?, cellphone=?, even provided counseling til 2am?)
(4)because the teacher is the kind of hard to approach? (personal attitude, no comment)
(5)because the teacher is too busy to consult? (back to (3))
(6)because the teacher failed to raise interest in the subject? (how interesting consider as interesting? if you are teaching biology and talking about birds and bees, are you going to demonstrate it?)
(7)because the teacher failed to teach the indirect question? (language skill is self-train, it depends on how good is your command of language, analytical skill depends on how develop is the brain, it is biological, i have no idea about this)
there are so many problems, but still, should the one to be culpable and blameworthy ONLY teacher? for someone who is always talk out of the back head, do you think you can just keep your hands clean? it is really in a pig's eye to say only one party is responsible. enough is enough, it is for you now to start thinking with your bird brain to come out a formula to enlighten all the teachers and overcome the issue. since you are so retarded, can you?
Again, i am not pinpointing anyone or anything, just so happened to read an article and the caprice just popped out from mind.

With due respect, I think some lecturers fail to empathize with their students (u think all students are as clever as lecturers meh... our bird brain cannot process veli fast one lah), assuming that they understand everything that has been taught in class. With this impression, they'd be like 'this so easy u oso dunno meh, aiyo... so stupid' when the student sees him during consultation. For me, this is the worst thing a lecturer could ever do to kill the student's morale and subsequently discourage him from consulting the lecturer. The question sure easy lah for the lecturer, if not how the heck he teach in college. Some students will turn to their friends while others just keep quiet. But then again, the student's attitude oso a big problem. if the lecturer very geng in teaching, then the student's bird brain cannot absorb info oso cham. what's worse, the bird brain cannot function liao, somemore never be hardworking do homework everyday play dota sure die lah like that. my conclusion is, i hope lecturer could show more empathy towards his students... and even if u beh tahan the student's dumb questions hor, at least dun make fun of him (dun tell him 1+1 = 2) loh (at least later he disappear liao only laugh loud loud hahaha).. and ask them refer to friends or whatever. but the thing is still up to the student himself. of cos, the lecturer has no obligation in providing everything to cater to every student. the student surely can get good grades if he has the will to work his way out by referring to frens, seniors etc and do lots of exercises. I'm sure local U students' life is like that, since the lecturers there sux big time. but as u can see, some of them result stil so geng... that implies everything up to the student but if the lecturer is good, it'd be even better lah. aiyo, kap so much liao, better shut up, bye bye!
October 14, 2008 at 8:48 PM Talking the experience of mine as a student before last time during my uni time. My lecturer are so lousy and useless until she can lectured half way and told us she forgotten that part already and smile stupidly at us. Ended up with we students are learning by ourselves.
From my own perspective, lecturer and students are playing equally important roles. Lecturers are the one who teach, guide and advise students on the part the students may not know. We as lecturer expose the students to the new knowledge. But students have to play their roles to exploring themselves further in the knowledge which has been taught by the lecturers. We lecturer are not the dictionary that providing all the facts and knowledge needed by students. At least, when the students need guidance, we should always to be there for them.
If really students can learn independent, and don't need lecturers at all, I guess the lecturer this job career won't exist anymore.. Everybody are learning on their own..
I am not angry at those students who are asking some simple questions, but instead i angry at those who are lazy.. Laziness is the main factor to the failure for every students.. This is what I think and feel after I become lecturer after 2 and half years..
