calamity

laws are meant to protect or to be protected?
law practitioners practice laws or to be practiced by laws?

i am in blue when i get to know Bar Council to set up a special committee to protect the civil and corporate litigation lawyers against assault and battery. logically criminal lawyers deal more serious wrongdoers than them, but why their life are at stake? what on earth is happening? the indictment cases is elevated from days to days. the protector now become the defender, victim of plunder.

law is a sword or shield or both, depend on how the people manipulate it. sometime it seems to be stood up for justice, sometime it seems to jeopardize. certain animals used to abuse and misuse the laws to infringe others' rights in order to gain popularity and prosperity. some angels use the law to protect and save the innocents. everything is so reciprocal to each other. even we enjoy basic rights, but betimes it is a ball and chain.

laws are legislated base on public policy and politically centered, but when the policies are drafted accord to personal and private orientation, and curtain it with most beautiful lies and the public issues never cushion, contrary the "legislature" can build the palace (or mansion?), enjoy Europe tour, etc, whereas the voter are suffer from poverty and destitution. luckily the justice still prevail at last, the dubious obtuse worthless "ah pi" eventually sentence behind the steel bar. i am so damn bliss. feel like want to sing a song for him.
