Resposibility, Commitment n Obligation
Happened to read an entry from my idol's blog. the word pound a gravity weigh in my mind. i think i can apprehend the feeling. every word is so bombastic. me in total ignominy. regarding the 5 excellent elaboration points, i hit no point. with my bird brain intelligence, everyone is unique and i can only take yours as reference, but i could not agree more than your brilliant notion. i have no comment on the points. everyone has his own learning method. like me, even i go for class, after 30 minutes then i will be alpha state. i start to day dream. normally before i go for class, i try to read first, and i will make short notes. whichever points that highlighted by the teacher then i will make an indication. i did quite a number of questions back to my student time. that is my way to study.
how you define a good student? never skip class? never sleep in class? never chat in class? never miss any tutorial or assignment? how can you tell a student is paying his 100% attention? can't he thinking of other thing else? always come for consultation? i have no right to judge on others principles, but i do think that it is unfair to judge student on these. So long as they do their job as a student, for me is fine.
personally i never think of responsibility, for me, i want to move in further, commitment and obligation. when you can clearly distinguish your responsibility, commitment and obligation as a student, then only you will give your 101% to play your role. i been a student, and now i am a student still, and i believe that the burden is always on your shoulders, not others'.
October 21, 2008 at 8:54 PM "Good student" do not have any definite definitions there. As you said, you start to day dream during class after 30 mins which is sounds better than me already. For my whole life study, I never love to listen to m teachers nor lecturers. During form 6, I didn't even buy my Mathematic text books! I was only borrowed the reference book from library and self study. For the rest of subjects, I self studied them when i was in lower six and when reaching upper six, I went in the class to day dream and just goyang kaki.
Different people having their own way of thinking and their method to study. Some people can study and listen music at the same time but some may not able to do it. No matter what method you are using, I guess the final result is to pass all the exams with the flying color results. If really in the end the result is not so good, AT LEAST you already go through the whole process where you already tried your best.
Students life never easy~ But I believe as long as the person put in his effort, he will see the fruitful results is awaiting for him~~ ^____^
