have you read the news? someone just thrown a turtle to a crocodile and also used a rock to slay 3 lizards, including a 20 years old goanna, and my beloved thorny devil, made up a total of 13 animals worth RM19,000. the keeper used the word "nasty" to describe the devil, for me, filthy, obscene, indecent, vicious, malicious, spiteful, formidable are better words. why can someone has the malicious mind to kill such adorable creatures? oh God, what is actually happening? where were the parents? don't they realize the child gone missing? what if, the child accidentally fall into the crocodile's pool? can you imagine? it is not the matter of how much money that the animals worth, but they are lives. what are the morality values that the parents ingrain in the child's mind? besides that, the zoo authority need to look into the security matter seriously to prevent such incident from reoccur. i really condemn such the action and i agree with the keeper to bring the parents before justice, as a role model for others to take proper care of their young one. seems like zoo is no longer a heaven for animals to live in peace and safe, comparing to their natural habitat. they already lost their rights and freedom, they lost their liberty to choose their home, their mates (playmates?), food they want to eat, and everything, they surrendered everything they have including their life, some spend their entire life span in the zoo, but now, they been killed so violencely, stern, pitiless, ruthless, brutal, savage, ferocious, merciless, relentless and unscrupulousness. there is some creatures worse than natural predators. may the lost souls rest in peace.
