Direct not Good?

I keep on wondering why birds and bees be a taboo. Everyone is so reluctant to discuss about the topic. I know it is an embargo, but why? Shunning is just papering over the cracks. Prevention is better than cure and sorry no cure. The way i handle the issue might not be the best, it was too direct, but it is better than to hide a multitude of sins. We are living in 21st century, if you try to hide your head in the sand, the problem will breed like rabbit. There is more than one way to skin a cat, the castigation will never work. in my humble opinion, redress the issue in a more softer admonish, open and civilize direct approach in order to ingrain the adequate knowledge is better than animadversion. Instead of saying "cannot do", i will say "can do, BUT .......", try to let them foresee the risk and apprehend the damage or suffer that incur after the action, and the burden or responsibility that he need to bear for culpability. This is always my way to educate. To understand the reasoning behind the judgment before an act can make him realize the consequence follow his voluntarily, willingly and (un)lawful act. So the burden will be on him if he is about to take the risk. This is an informative era, they can gain access from anywhere or anyone, we have to get along with them and guide them to distinct between the do and don't, right and wrong. The effective communication is always the best channel to overcome the misunderstanding and misconception.
